Medicom Toy collaborated in 2018 with the Californian label XLARGE and the Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama for a special variant of BE@RBRICK 1000%. Bearbrick in a limited series totally gilded brilliant, a large XLARGE brand in the center of the chest, the signature of Sorayama on the left arm and bear footprints.

Hajime Sorayama is a legendary artist known worldwide as the “Godfather of Airbrush Painting”. Famous are his works such as the cover of the first generation AIBO album of SONY and Aerosmith. It is no exaggeration to say that his series “Sexy Robot”, which has integrated the aesthetic beauty of the human body in robots, is a legend of the twentieth century. Currently, there are many cultural icons such as George Lucas, Stella McCartney and KAWS who love his work.

The touch of the Japanese designer can be seen from the robot mask on the face of the bear, Sorayama in fact has a particular predilection for the design of robots in his products.
